Barbara Sue Johnston

Barbara Sue Johnston, age 75, of Louisville Kentucky was returned to her heavenly father

on January 21, 2024, with her family by her side.

She was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Mr. Gilbert and Mrs. Settie Reynolds.

Barbara worked for Levy's Restaurant and Churchill Downs for over 30 years where her

customers and co-workers became family. She really loved her UK basketball and many trips to the SEC tournaments with family.

She also loved her bingo, scratch-offs, flowers, and crafting her silk arrangements. However, she was most known for the love she had for her husband, children, and family and how much she was adored by them. The love she shared with them will forever remain in their hearts.

She is proceeded in her death by her loving parents Gilbert and Settie Reynolds,

her beautiful daughter Vickie Johnston Caswell, a great-grandson Colson Korfhage,

her two sisters Anna Melo and Theresa Poe, and three brothers Carlos Reynolds, Donald Reynolds, and James Carlos Kincaid.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 53 years Russell Johnston Sr.,

Son Thomas Mier (Crystal), Daughter Dana Reading (Jim), Daughter Shannon

Jarboe (Michael), and her son Russell Johnston Jr. (Gena), 24 Grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends that loved her dearly.

Barbara has chosen cremation and will have a Celebration of Life to follow. Date and time will be

announced as soon as possible.
