Bobby Allen Hearn, born on September 20, 1959, in Carrollton, Kentucky, passed away suddenly at his home in Independence, Kentucky, on July 14, 2026. His unexpected passing has left an emptiness in the hearts of all who loved and knew him.
Bobby was a beloved son of the late Bennie Hearn and Lorena Lee Hearn, and cherished brother to many. He grew up surrounded by a large family, and those early years in Carrollton shaped his warm, giving nature and steadfast character.
He is survived by his loving son, Caleb Hearn, whose life he touched deeply with his guidance, care, and unwavering support. Bobby also leaves behind two precious grandchildren, Halle Hearn and Colter Hearn, who brought him much pride and joy. His life was further enriched by the enduring bonds he shared with his brothers, Glenn Hearn and Richard Hearn, and his sisters, Brenda Sue Goodman and Nancy Scrogham. His true companion and love has been Tonya Winkle for many years. They have shared many memories of family and fun together. He will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
Bobby's memory will be honored by those who held him dear, even as he is reunited with loved ones who preceded him in death. He was predeceased by his brothers, William Hearn, Howard Hearn, and Johnny Hearn, as well as his sisters, Annie Lutz, Phyllis Rose, Mariam Hearn, and Karen Hearn. The passing of his parents, Bennie and Lorena Lee Hearn, marked significant moments in Bobby’s life, and he carried their legacy with grace.
Throughout his years, Bobby Allen Hearn was known for his kindness, strength, and genuine spirit. His familial relationships were central to his life, offering love, humor, and steadfast support in good times and bad. He will be remembered for the care he showed his family, the integrity with which he lived, and the quiet but significant impact he made on everyone who had the pleasure to know him.
As his family and friends gather to remember Bobby, they celebrate not only his life but the love and connection he fostered amongst them. The memory of his laughter, wisdom, and generosity will live on through the stories shared and the hearts he has touched.
May Bobby Allen Hearn rest in peace, reunited with those who went before him, and forever cherished by those whose lives he so beautifully enriched.
