Brad William Hearn, known affectionately as Brad by his friends and family, passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 45, in Milton, Kentucky. Born on the last day of 1979 in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, Brad's life was a testament to his strength, his passion for his interests, and his unwavering love for his family. Brad was a proud graduate of Gallatin County High School, where he not only excelled academically but also left his mark as a spirited athlete, playing both basketball and baseball with great enthusiasm. His love for sports continued throughout his life, most notably as an avid fan of the University of Kentucky's sports teams. His cheers and support for the Wildcats were a constant in his life, and his knowledge of the team's history and statistics was unparalleled. After high school, Brad dedicated himself to the craft of concrete work, a trade where he demonstrated his remarkable work ethic and attention to detail. His colleagues knew him as a reliable and skilled worker who took pride in every project he undertook. Brad's knack for building and repairing extended beyond his professional life. He was exceptionally talented in working with his hands, whether it was restoring a classic car or renovating a family home. His skills were not only a career but also a hobby that brought him immense satisfaction. Brad's greatest joy, however, was his family. He is survived by his loving children, Taylor Preedom (Jordon), Logan Hearn (Adriana), and Mallory Hearn, who will forever cherish the memories of their father's guidance, laughter, and love. His dear grandchildren, Wesley Preedom, Delilah Hamilton, and Braelyn Hearn, will miss their grandfather's playful spirit and the gentle wisdom he imparted. Brad was the beloved son of Anita Hearn and Harvey Raisor, who provided him with a foundation of love and support that he carried throughout his life. His grandparents, Bessie and the late Bennie Hearn, will remember Brad's visits and conversations fondly, while he joins his great-grandmother, the late Stella Wilson, in eternal rest.He will also be deeply missed by his brother, Andrew Chapman, and sisters, Stacy Arick and Courtney Raisor. His extended family of several nieces and nephews will hold onto the legacy of their fun-loving uncle who always had time for their stories and games.Brad's departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his influence and the love he shared will continue to resonate. His life was a reflection of his values—family, hard work, and passion for the things he loved. Through his children, grandchildren, and the countless lives he touched, Brad's spirit will endure.
