Bradley Wayne Schlueter, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2025, in Edgewood, Kentucky. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on September 22, 1964, Bradley's journey through life was marked by dedication, love, and an unwavering spirit of generosity.
Bradley's early years on the family farm instilled in him a love for animals and the simple joys of life. His faithful canine companion, Ringo, was by his side throughout his childhood, laying the foundation for a lifetime of animal companionship. Bradley's love for animals continued throughout his life, leaving behind his beloved cats Amber, Rosie, KK, and Ginger.
After serving his country with distinction by driving a deuce and a half truck in the Army, Bradley returned to his roots, working as a concrete truck driver, a profession he held for most of his working days. His work ethic and commitment to his craft were unmatched, and he was respected by all who knew him in his professional circle.
Bradley found love and companionship with his wife, Tina Hughes, and together they created a blended family that was a testament to their love and mutual respect. He was a loving husband to Tina, and a guiding light to his sons Shawn Hughes and the late Joel Dean Schlueter. As a stepfather, he provided care and support to Matthew (Kristy) Loschiavo, Jonathon (Jessica) Hughes, Joshua Loschiavo, Zachary (Trinity) Lischiavo, and remembered fondly the late Chris Schlueter. His role as a grandfather was one he cherished deeply, especially with his dear grandchildren Gabriella, Aryanna Loschiavo, and the 19 others who brought him immense joy.
Visitation will be Thursday February 27 from 1 PM until time of service at 2 PM at Alliance Funeral Home and Cremation Center 7816 Dixie Hwy Florence, KY 41042
Bradley's passion for life extended beyond his family. As a basketball coach for the Dixie Little Colonels, he instilled values of teamwork and perseverance in the youth he mentored. His expertise in karate not only made him a respected instructor but also a role model for discipline and respect. Bradley's love for the outdoors was evident in his enthusiasm for camping and boating on the Ohio River and Lake Cumberland. He and Tina shared a love for travel, exploring the world together on cruises that enriched their lives with adventure and new experiences.
Described by those who knew him as loving, selfless, and passionate, Bradley's legacy is one of kindness, dedication, and the courage to follow one's passions. His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his spirit will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched.
Bradley was preceded in death by his parents, Elmo and Wilma nee' Osbourne Schlueter, and his son, Joel Dean Schlueter and step son Joel Schlueter. His memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife, Tina, his family, and the numerous friends who were blessed to have been a part of his extraordinary life.
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Bradley Wayne Schlueter will be profoundly missed, but the warmth of his love and the strength of his character will remain with us always. We celebrate a life well-lived and honor a man who gave so much to those around him. May he rest in peace, knowing that his legacy is one of boundless love and selfless service.
