In Loving Memory of Chantal Lala Fiti
Chantal Lala Fiti was more than a mother — she was a nurse, a god-fearing woman, a devoted wife, and a godmother to many. She served as a nurse for 16 years before moving to America, always putting others before herself, even when it meant sacrificing time with her own children. Her heart for service knew no bounds.
After relocating to the United States, despite facing a language barrier, she never gave up. She enrolled in ESL classes to learn English while working at Amazon, all while continuing her dedication to the church and community. Whether you were a member of her church or a stranger in need, Chantal was always ready to help. She lived her faith boldly, not just in words but in every action.
In the past month, she became ill. But what stood out the most during that time was her unwavering faith. Even when the doctors gave little hope, she never lost her trust in God. She often said, “Let God decide.” Her favorite scripture, Psalm 136:1–26, reflected her heart: a heart full of thanksgiving, love, and humility.
Chantal was a woman of great strength and compassion — a mother to many, a blessing to all. Her passing has left a deep void, and everyone who knew her says the same: “We lost someone truly special.”
Mom, we love you deeply. You always had the strength to apologize when you were wrong, and you showed us the path to God through your life and example. Your legacy of love, humility, and faith will live on in your children. You passed away in front of your children, leaving this world in peace and entering heaven with joy.
We will never forget you, and your blessings will continue to guide us.
