Clifford F Wainscott

Clifford F. Wainscott, 71, of Erlanger passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. Clifford was born in Covington to Clifford E. and Fern (Pyles) Wainscott. He had a twin brother William Douglas Wainscott who preceded him in death as did both his parents. All lived in Erlanger. Clifford earned an Associate Degree in electronic technology from the Ohio College of Applied Science in Cincinnati. He was a dedicated employee and always spoke favorably about any company he worked for. After graduation he worked at AVEY Machine Tool in Covington. He later co-owned, with his long- time friend Ken Daley, A-V Repair Shop in Erlanger for 10 years where everyone went to Clifford to solve their technical issues. Until his recent retirement he served as a clerk for the IRS for 13 years. Clifford was very dedicated to his career as an electronic technician and his favorite hobby was metal detecting with his long-time friend Ron Hammond and enjoyed WWE wrestling. He is survived by his daughter Debbie J. Noel and two grandsons Brett and Chad Noel of Florence. Family and friends are invited to share in a Celebration of Clifford’s Life Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 5-7PM at Alliance Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Florence. A memorial service will begin at 7PM.
