Dallas Messer, Sr

Dallas Messer, 77, of Walton, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020 while at the Cold Springs Transition Home where he was found unresponsive around 5 p.m. that evening. Dallas was a good father and Pappa. He deeply loved his grandkids and would do anything to make them laugh. Dallas enjoyed spending time with his family, westerns (John Wayne), and playing chess. Dallas never knew a stranger, and was a friend to all he met. He was a devoted member to the Mission Church of God in Florence. Dallas is survived by his children Dallas Franklin Messer, Jeremy (Amy) Messer, Andrew (Julia) Messer; grandchildren Alex, Stephen, Joseph, Kristen, Hannah, Isaac, Josiah, John; his siblings Sherlie Olson, Dollas (Fay) Messer, David Messer; and many loving nieces and nephews. Dallas was preceded in death by his loving wife, Anjanette K Messer; his parents Lee and Arlie Messer, and his sibling Dana (Ann-Marie) Messer. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 11 am until the memorial service at 1 pm, all at the Mission Church of God, 7851 Tanners Lane, Florence KY 41042. Covid-19 restrictions are recommended. Memorial contributions may be made in Dallas’s name to Mission Church of God.
