Danny L. Lammers, 73, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at his home. Danny participated in many community organizations, such as being a member of the Masons, Shriners, and the Knights of Columbus. He served the Honor Guard Veterans as Commander of the Northern Kentucky Honor Guard, Ralph Fulton Honor Guard, and the American Legion Post 20 for the past 30 years. His favorite hobbies included woodworking, crossword puzzles, electronic solitaire, and being a certified locksmith. Among the most important past times were drinking beer and socializing with many, many close friends. He owned and managed a gas station in Covington where he was raised and attended St. Aloysius School. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Sheila Goodridge. Survived to mourn his loss is his loving wife of 16 years Linda, son Randy Lammers, step-daughters Wendy Kennedy, Kandy Daugherty, step-son Michael Killion, sisters Marlene (Ray) Smith, Ness Lannigan, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his beloved cat Needles, for 26 years. A Celebration of Danny’s Life will take place on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at the Florence Elks Lodge, 7704 Dixie Highway, Florence, KY, downstairs beginning at 2:00 PM. Honor Guard ceremony with 21-gun salute will begin at 3:00 PM.
