Donald McSwain, Jr., of West Chester, Ohio passed away on September 6, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Hospice after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family. He was 68.

Born on December 7, 1957, in Cincinnati, Donald was a man whose life was rooted in hard work, family, and the simple joys that brought him happiness. He graduated from Lakota High School 50 years ago and went on to spend his career as a longtime carpet installer, a path that reflected his steady nature and strong work ethic.

Donald also found joy in the things he loved most. He loved music, cheered for the Cincinnati Bengals, and enjoyed any horse track he could find. These interests brought energy and enjoyment to his life and will be fondly remembered by those who knew him best.

Above all, Donald will be remembered for the love he shared with his family. He is survived by his children, Brandon McSwain and his wife, Christine, Andrew McSwain and his wife, Carly, Lauren McSwain, Makenzie McSwain, and Jordann Wesley and her husband, Dustin. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Kadin, Aaliyah, Cohen, Bijou, Flynn, Knox, and Lane, who were an important part of his life. Donald is also survived by his sister, Deborah McSwain and Brandi, and by his brothers, Brian McSwain and Jeff McSwain.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald McSwain, Sr., and his mother, Janet McSwain.
