Donna Deane Kreicker

Donna Deane Kreicker nee Luckenbill of Florence, Kentucky passed away on Friday April 28, 2017. Donna graduated from Warsaw High School in Indiana in 1962. She attended Indiana University and later attended Stamford School of Nursing at the University of Bridgeport an affiliate of Yale University. Donna was able to use her nursing education to become the orthopaedic industries first female product manager at DePuy Manufacturing in Warsaw, Indiana. Donna enjoyed a long and successful career in the orthopaedic industry which culminated with her being the North American president of Sigvaris, Inc. Donna is survived by her loving husband and best friend since the age of 8, sons Kevin and Tom and daughter-in-law Cindi Kreicker nee Wilkie, grandsons Aaron Mundy and Nathan Kreicker, her sister Dorian Shields nee Luckenbill and husband Jim of Williamstown, Kentucky, brother Graham Kreicker of Lawrence, Kansas and Sister-in-law Mazie Kreicker of Warsaw, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents Lewis F. Luckenbill and Helen Hope Luckenbill nee Huey both of Warsaw, Indiana, brother David Luckenbill of Warsaw, Indiana and brother-in-law William {Bill} Kreicker of Warsaw, Indiana and sister-in-law Bobbi Kreicker of Warsaw, Indiana. Donna was a member of The Community of Faith Presbyterian Church of Covington, Kentucky. She was also a member of Altrusa Women’s Business Club. Donna loved riding horses, her Cushman motor scooter and later her Suzuki GS550 as a true woman of the 70’s. In her later years, she enjoyed making incredible hand-sewn Christmas stockings for family and friends. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to; The Humane Shelter of Boone County, SAAP Animal Rescue, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or any charity of one’s own choosing in her loving memory. Donna’s family wishes to thank our friends and family along with her physicians, nurses and healthcare staff for all the love, support and prayers during this difficult time.
