Outdoor enthusiast, artist and family man Edward Adam Lane, 45 from Warsaw, Kentucky began his newest adventure on May 27, 2017. He was employed as a construction worker and general contractor for Outer Image. Ed was described by his wife of 14 years Davina R. (Griffis) Lane as hard headed and stubborn. He was a loving father to each of his sons, but shared a special bond with his special needs son to whom he was an extraordinary father. Ed is survived by his sons Zachary Adam (Lorin) Lane, Lexington, Joseph W. Thomas and Esaias Ray Lane, Warsaw, parents Raymond Ed and Donna Lane, Union, KY, sister Jamie (Joe) Sizemore, Cincinnati, brother Jesse Lane, Salem, NH, grandchildren Asher James Lane and Sophia Elizabeth Grace Lane and aunts Dorothy Mezakowski and Gail Bernard. Ed enjoyed many interests including hiking, repelling, debating politics, crafts, the city of Boston, fantasy football and any professional sports team from the Boston area. Ed was an organ and tissue donor and through his generosity he will continue to “live through others”. He is preceded in death by his grandmothers Lora “Mammie” Ballinger and Dorothy “Grammy” Mezakowski. A Gathering of Friends will take place Saturday June 3, 2017 from 11:00 AM-1:30 PM at Alliance Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Florence with a Celebration of Ed’s Life beginning at 1:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be directed to www.gofundme.com/memorial-service-for-ed-lane. Ed’s family honored his wishes to be cremated.
