In Loving Memory of Mother Elisee Isangya Etshemambo

October 4, 1969 – February 24, 2025

With heavy hearts yet deep gratitude for the life she lived, we announce the passing of Mother Elisee Isangya Etshemambo, who was called to be with the Lord on February 24, 2025, at the age of 55 in Kentucky, USA.

Born on October 4, 1969, in Befale, Equateur Province, Democratic Republic of Congo, she was the beloved daughter of the late Mr. Jean-Pierre Isangya Bofofe and Mrs. Véronique Bongele Botumbasombo. As the youngest daughter in a large, loving family, she shared a strong bond with her many siblings.

Mother Elisee was a woman of kindness, honor, and unwavering faith. She was deeply family-oriented, friendly, and caring, always bringing warmth and joy to those around her. She loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally, cherishing every moment with them.

She was also a passionate and dedicated professional. She earned her State Diploma in Teaching from Sacred Heart High School in Gombe, Kinshasa, DRC, sharing her knowledge with compassion and commitment. In addition to her role as an educator, she had a powerful voice as a journalist and presenter at Radio Liberté in Boende, Equateur Province, DRC, using her platform to inform and uplift others.

Above all, she was a woman of deep faith who lived her life according to God’s will, trusting in His strength and grace.

Mother Elisee’s legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her. May she rest in eternal peace in the presence of the Lord she so faithfully served.
