Emily Kara Schaefer

Emily Kara Schaefer, 49 peacefully passed from this earth into the arms of Jesus at her home surrounded by her family and loved ones. Emily grew up in Blanchester, Ohio, graduated from The Ohio State University and was employed by Procter & Gamble, Macy’s and The Kroger Company over her career. Devoted to her family and friends she was always ready to make room for more. Always ready for adventure, known for her never give up attitude, she danced like no one was watching. She is survived by her mother, Judy Pell Schaefer of Englewood, FL, her father, Hugh John Schaefer, Jr., brother, Jared, nephew Alex and niece Baylie Schaefer, all of Cincinnati, and several Aunts, Uncles and cousins. During her long battle with cancer, Emily was a constant inspiration and encourager to her fellow warriors and to everyone around her. She has left an indelible mark on those she touched, and she will never be forgotten.
