Life is fragile and one moment can change your future. Everett Longworth awoke from a nap having a stroke. While recovering in rehab he contracted Covid. God called him home on Thursday, September 2, 2021. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Friday, October 8, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, Kentucky promptly at 1:00 PM. Everett was born in Barbourville, Kentucky on November 8th, 1949. The youngest of ten he was surrounded by the love of his large family. This shaped Everett’s core. Anyone that met him or spent time with him would agree that he loved and cared for people. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Anna, his son David Grover and daughter in law Monica Grover, his daughter Belinda Stovall and son in law Buddy Stovall. His heart was filled with pride and joy for his four grandchildren (Matthew, Austin, Shelby, and Abel), one great granddaughter (Amicia), and countless extended family. Some of his final words to his family were “Love one another and know that I love you “Mucho Grande”. These words reflect his heart and may they be a reminder to us all each day. In lieu of flowers, people wishing to honor Everett can make a donation to Kicks for Jesus. Everett was proud of the work that this program does to help the community while helping others hear about Jesus and grow in his word.
