Gregory Alban Redden

October 24, 1956 — September 19, 2014

On September 19, 2014, Gregory Alban Redden was freed from the pain he was suffering. He was a farmer, a brother, a son, a father and a grandfather. He took pride in everything he did and instilled that upon his boys. He loved to say “work is fun, fun is work, work, work, work, fun, fun, fun.” He met everyone with a smile and always wished others did the same. He leaves the following to carry on his legacy of hard work, humor, fun and pride: His boys, Adam and Andy Redden; his daughter-in-law Rachel Redden; his grandkids Archer and Emery Redden; his dad John D. Redden, M.D.; his brothers Chris, John and Pat; his sisters Julie, Lisa, Annie, Marla, Michelle, MariClaire; his best friends Jeff Kaiser, Tim Kirn, Mike Gorman, Jerry Longo, and Jerry Dempsey; and all the others who he loved and had an impact on during his life. His life will be celebrated at his house at 525 Martin Lane, Glencoe, Ky. on October 25, 2014 at 3:00p.m. Please arrive before 3:00 p.m. Bring tents, chairs and whatever you want to drink. We will provide food. It will be a celebration of his life and an opportunity to share stories and memories about Greg. Wear Chuck Taylors if you have them. It is a casual event. No suits, ties, dress shoes, etc. We do ask that you email Adam any photos you may have that you want to share. We also request that you write down a story or memory about dad and bring it with you or email it to Adam. We are going to put them all together to share with his grandkids (at the appropriate age depending on the story). We also ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Elizabeth Hospice. Any questions, photos, stories, or memories can be directed to Adam Redden at gar1979us@yahoo.com
