James Arnold Brown

James Arnold Brown, 71, Florence, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Hospice. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on August 15, 1944. Jim loved fishing in the ocean and once caught a shark. He was a sports fanatic enjoying the Reds, Cincinnati Bengals, golf with Tiger Woods, Chicago Bulls with Michael Jordan and he was a huge Ohio State fan and liked watching Western movies. Jim enjoyed life and spending time with his family. Jim is predeceased by his parents James and Gladys (Day) Brown, his two brothers Frank and George Brown and Michael Brown. He leaves behind his loving wife of 37 years Sharon, his children Annamarie Atkins, Lakeland, FL, Kenneth (Kara) Horne Florence, KY and Brian Brown Middletown, OH, his grandchildren Christopher, Michael, Matthew, Jonathan, Rissa, Aryonna, and Logan and six great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 5:00 -7:00 PM at Alliance Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 7816 Dixie Highway, Florence, KY. Service will begin at 7:00 PM with Chaplain Chuck Myser officiating. Following the services Jim’s family will honor his request to be cremated.
