James Arthur Hammel

James Arthur Hammel, Union, a retired fabrication supervisor at Monti Inc. (Cincinnati, Ohio) passed away unexpectedly on November 17, 2018, at the age of 71, after a morning of hunting with his son at his home. Jim was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved spending time with his grandchildren Hunter and Leah and his extended family. He was a lifetime member of the NRA. Jim is predeceased by his brother John Hammel and his parents John and Mary (Meiman) Hammel. He leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years Ruth Ann (Kelly) Hammel, his children Kelly Arnette Hammel (Richard Smith), Port Richey, FL and James Michael Hammel (Shawna Elliott), Union, his siblings Mary Hammel, Ludlow, Ethel Means, Ludlow, Judith Sergent, Erlanger, Patricia Werner, Erlanger, Joseph Hammel, Williamstown, Paul Hammel, Carrollton, Michael Hammel, Park Hills, Thomas Hammel, Newport, Steve Hammel, Ludlow and Timothy Hammel, Ludlow.
