James M Whalen

James’s “Mike” Whalen- of Florence KY. September 30, 1955- May 8, 2021. Mike is survived by his wife, Kim, and her daughter Elizabeth. His children- son Zac Whalen, and daughter Kasey DeFinis. His sister, Julie Comerford, and grandsons Drake Whalen and Joey DeFinis. In life, Mike owned and operated Quality Security for over 30 years. He was an avid gun collector, practical joker, farm owner, fun loving uncle, and good friend to many. He was a Kentucky Colonel, member of the Elks club, and a wizard at billiards. He loved fast cars, flying airplanes, and boating on the lake. During a negotiation, you would want him on your side. Mike was proceeded in death by his parents, Eugene “Ken” Whalen, Loraine “Pat” Whalen, and brother Greg Whalen.
