James W Carroll

James W. Carroll, 68, Florence passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati. He was born in Dearborn Heights, Michigan to Joseph and Irene Carroll in 1950. He was an amateur radio enthusiast, a member of Kenton County Search and Rescue and proudly served our country as a member of the United States Marine Corps where he was awarded two Purple Hearts while serving in Vietnam. James was a loving husband of 30 years to Gail (Kitchell) Carroll, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. He loved sharing his time with his grandchildren Karmyn, Leah, Lola and Fallyn. Family and friends are invited to join together on Saturday June 16, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 PM at the Brickhouse Pub & Grill, 7718 US 42, Florence, Kentucky to help them celebrate James’s life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Ralph Fulton VFW Post #6423, 4435 Dixie Highway, Elsmere, Kentucky 41018.
