Jean May "Gigi" Thomas

Jean May “Gigi” Thomas passed away at her home in Erlanger on August 25, 2020. She lost her lengthy battle with cancer, but never her will. Gigi was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania to her parents Arthur and Edith Plagge in 1935. She and her husband Michael “Jack” Thomas, who predeceased her in 2007, enjoyed owning and operating Fairfield Travel for many years. The travel agency offered them the opportunity to take dozens of cruises and trips to Hawaii and Europe. Survivors include her daughters Laurie (Greg) Lamblin, Rabbit Hash and Patricia (Dan Greenwalt) Thomas, Erlanger, grandchildren Kaytlin, Thomas, Jordan, Devin and McKenna, great grandchildren Billy, Brendan and Addison, brothers-in-law David (Norma) Thomas and Joseph Thomas (partner Rob Woodruff). There will be a private celebration of life. Her family honored Gigi’s wishes to be cremated and she will be together forever with her beloved husband Jack.
