Jeffery Joe Wood, known affectionately as Jeff by his friends and family, passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 66, in Edgewood, Kentucky. Born on January 30, 1959, in Kansas City, Kansas, Jeff lived a full and vibrant life characterized by his creative spirit, interesting persona, and intelligent mind.Jeff was a dedicated property manager, a profession that allowed him to apply his considerable skills and knowledge to the benefit of many. His work not only showcased his ability to manage and maintain properties with excellence but also allowed him to form lasting relationships within the community. His involvement with various associations reflected his commitment to his career and his desire to stay informed and connected within his industry.But Jeff's life was not all work and no play. He was an ardent fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, rarely missing a game and always ready to cheer on his team with passion and enthusiasm. His love for fishing provided him with countless hours of tranquility and joy, as he patiently waited for the catch of the day. Jeff was also known for his fondness for sports betting, a hobby that brought excitement and a touch of friendly competition into his life.Beyond his hobbies, Jeff was an avid writer, often found crafting stories, poems, or essays that revealed his imaginative mind and expressive soul.
