Jerry Hunley

Jerry Hunley, 74, of Elsmere, passed away unexpectedly on December 10, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood. Jerry enjoyed life to the fullest. He had a contagious sense of humor sharing jokes with anyone who would listen. His love for his German Shepard Dogs was undeniable. Jerry was a lifetime member of the NRA and KMA/KBA. He enjoyed riding with his buddies Bob, Gary and Kent. Jerry enjoyed playing Santa at the children’s home every year and giving the children motorcycle rides. He also liked listening to Hank Williams, Sr, but he did NOT like rice! Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Otis and Lola Brown and his beloved white German Shepard dogs Witchie #1, Witchie #2, Witchie #3 and his brown/tan German Shepard dogs Brandie #1 and Brandie #2. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Kay (Patton) Hunley, his children Robin, Kim, Alisha, Ryan, his four adored grandchildren, Witchie #4 and many lifelong friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at Alliance Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Florence. Service to follow at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Full military honors will be presented at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
