Justin "Gus" Hunt

Justin Lawrence Hunt, most people knew him as "Gus" was born on April, 9, 1988 in Edgewood, Kentucky. Justin worked in the concrete field as a laborer. Gus's life was filled with laughter. He had a great personality and was a great storyteller. He was selfless and generous, making a lasting impression on most. Gus loved riding his motorcycle as well as hunting and fishing. He loved music and playing his guitar and has been heard freestyling rap verses to his friends. He had a sweet tooth and loved his candy. He would go into a store and come out with a bag full. Gus loved his boys Carson and Brycen. Leaving behind a legacy of love, Gus passed away on July,1, 2025 in Warsaw Kentucky. He is survived by his boys Carson and Brycen, his parents Karen and Jerry Hunt Jr, his brothers Jerry Hunt III, Tyler Hunt and his wife Sage, his beloved niece and nephews Brianna, Knox, Rhett, and Arlo. Gus also is remembered by his grandmother, Joyce Hunt and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Preceding him in death are his grandfathers Jerry Hunt and Leon Moore and grandmother Donna Sue Moore and his uncle Jeff. His memory will forever be cherished with all of the tales that he shared. His love and laugh will be remembered by family and friends.

Visitation will take place Friday, July 11, 2025 at Florence Methodist Church from 10 A.M. - 12 P.M. The Visitation will be followed by a Funeral Service from 12 P.M. - 1 P.M.
