Kathryn "Kathy" Mary Horn

Kathryn Mary Horn (Kathy) passed away on February 6, 2025. She was sixty-three. Kathy was born on October 15th, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Pete and Mary Ellen Horn. She was pre-deceased by her parents. Kathy was a graduate of Mother of Mercy High School, and the University of Cincinnati.

Kathy retired from the Cincinnati Police Department in 2014 with the rank of Sergeant.

Kathy leaves behind Sherri D Cantrell - her spouse and partner of more than thirty years, a brother Greg (Suzanne) Horn, sister-in-law Saundra (Jeff) McDine, her mother and father in-law Roy and Donna Cantrell, in addition to many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Kathy enjoyed a long career in law enforcement, retiring at age 52. In retirement she loved spending time with Sherri at their lake-house, fishing, boating, and enjoying the company of friends and family.

Kathy was loving, caring, and kind. She will be missed.

A celebration of life will be March 14 from 1-4 PM at the FOP Hall in Cincinnati.
