Kenneth Dale Cox

Kenneth Dale Cox, 52, Florence, passed away with his family by his side on June 13, 2020. Dale was member of Sherman Full Gospel Church and Sons of American Legion Post 4. He was an avid UK fan. GO BIG BLUE! Dale enjoyed growing tomatoes, traveling to Gatlinburg, sports, and hunting. He had a contagious sense of humor and was always smiling. Dale was predeceased by his father Kenneth Cox, uncles Bobby and Bill Chipman. He is survived by his constant companion for the last 17 years wife Terri Cox, his loving mom Patricia (Sonny) Shelton, brothers Steven (Jamie) Cox, David Shelton (and his daughter Taylor), daughter Amber (Tommy) Lee, niece Maddie Cox, nephew Stevie Cox and three grandchildren Terry, Brenden and Aiden. Also left behind to mourn are Dale’s sister and brother in law Tami and Ed Stone, their children Cara (Ethan) Chitwood and Ryan LeVan and Callie and Carson, Dale’s great niece and nephew. Visitation will be held at Alliance Funeral Home and Cremation Center on Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Dale will be laid to rest at Union Rice Cemetery. PLEASE NOTE: MASKS ARE MANDATORY! TEMPERATURES WILL BE TAKEN AND MASKS ARE REQUIRED TO BE WORN CORRECTLY. THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE BUILDING AT ONE TIME WILL BE CONTROLLED.
