Larry Dean Beach

May 26, 1942 — August 6, 2019

Two dogs and a cat entered the open door approximately ten minutes apart, relatively anonymous and without fanfare. About fifteen minutes later the door opened and the veterinary assistant called out “ Booger Beach, Booger Beach”. The little male Yorkie started for the door on one end of a leash with his Master holding the other end. On August 6, 2019 the spoiled rotten, entitled little canine had lost “a dog’s best friend”. Larry Dean Beach Sr, 77, from Florence passed away unexpectedly at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Florence. Larry was born in Covington, Kentucky in May of 1942 to his parents Clay and Ona Mae (Landrum) Beach. He may be remembered as the parts manager at KOI Auto Parts. Surviving him is his loving wife of 56 years Arlene (True) Beach, sons Larry Beach, Walton and Brian (Tina) Beach, Florence, a sister Claudia (Dan) Frazier, Villa Hills, brother Tommy (Nancy) Beach, Munster, Indiana, his sister- in- law Thelma Beach, seven grandchildren Deanna, Zack, Clint, Holly, Brittany, Brandon, and Matthew, great granddaughter Vanessa Kay and many, many friends. His family describe him as a man who loved to aggravate and agitate people, but still possessed a personality that allowed him to make friends with everyone he met. He loved spending time with Arlene, cutting grass and playing with Booger. Larry is predeceased by his parents and his brother Ted Beach. A private family viewing was held at the funeral home on Friday before his cremation. His family request that memorial contributions may be directed, in Larry’s name, to Tribute Program, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept 142, Memphis, TN, 38101-9908.
