Lawrence Gilce Perkins

Lawrence “Gilce” Perkins, 78, Union, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Gallatin Nursing and Rehabilitation. Gilce was a strong, loving man who did not miss an opportunity to spend time with his family. He was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and a member of Local 392 Pipefitters. Gilce was a gun enthusiast who had a passion for Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He was predeceased by his parents and grandson Austin Perkins. Gilce is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Kathleen, his daughter Jenny (Joe) Schlimm, his sons Daniel (Meegan) Perkins, Timothy Perkins, his grandchildren Garrett Perkins, Kevin Liggett, Jaxson Perkins, Jaden Perkins, Anna Schlimm and great-grandchildren Selby Perkins, Levi Perkins and Danica Perkins-Vargas. Gathering of Friends on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Alliance Funeral Home and Cremation Center. A Celebration of Life will begin at 6:00 PM.
