Leslie Elaine Marshall, a beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2025, in Covington, Kentucky, at the age of 74. Born on March 23, 1950, in Hayden, Colorado, Leslie's life was a tapestry of devotion to her family, her church, and her community.Leslie's early years in the rugged beauty of Colorado instilled in her a lifelong appreciation for the great outdoors. Her love for camping and fishing was only matched by her creativity and skill in knitting and crocheting, which brought warmth and comfort to many through her beautiful blankets, afghans, scarves, hats, and baby blankets.After moving to Kentucky, Leslie found joy in her career as a Customer Service Manager at Kmart in Erlanger. Her work was more than a job; it was an extension of her innate ability to care for and connect with people. She was a cherished colleague and a mentor to many, always ready with a kind word and a helping hand.Leslie's faith was the cornerstone of her life. As an active member of the LDS Church, she dedicated herself to teaching and serving in the Relief Society. Her faith-filled spirit radiated through her actions and her unwavering commitment to her faith community.Her home was an abode of love and laughter, shared with her devoted husband, Kent Marshall. Together, they built a family that was her pride and joy. She was a loving mother to her children, Michael Scott Marshall (Shawn) and Shelley Works, along with her step-children Ora Lee Caskie (Romeo) and Kenn Marshall (Sandy). Leslie's heart was truly full with the love of her grandchildren - Hope Finley, Megan Ledford, Sean Burleson, Michael Scott Marshall II, Aaron Marshall, Isabelle Marshall, Sarah Conley, and Anima Coyle - who she adored and who will carry her legacy forward. The joy of family extended to her dear great-grandchildren, JD Finley and Joseph Minzer, who brought her immeasurable happiness.Leslie's family circle included a special cousin, Kimberli Barker, with whom she shared a bond that was as deep as it was cherished. Their connection was a testament to the power of family and the enduring nature of kinship.Words cannot fully capture the essence of Leslie, but those who knew her would describe her as loving, faith-filled, and creative. Her warm presence and generous spirit made her a beloved figure in the lives of all who were blessed to know her.Leslie's life was a living example of her values.
