Lisa L. Sowders (Hinkle) 54, Independence, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Hospice. Lisa enjoyed camping, swimming, growing flowers, UK, the Bengals and watching the chipmunks and squirrels with her husband. She was a compassionate, feisty, pretty, loving, sassy and spiritual person who loved her family with all her heart. Lisa is survived by her loving husband of 26 years Jerry, daughters Amy (Matthew) Snow, of Covington, Sarah Clark of Crittenden, sons Jerry Sowders Jr, of Florence and Brandon Sowders (Danessa Taylor) of Crittenden, sister Marcia (Danny) Driskell of Independence and her brother Mark Hinkle of Burlington, one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 9:30 AM-11:30 AM at Alliance Funeral Home & Cremation Center. The service will begin at 11:30 AM.
