Margaret Ann Doke

Margaret Ann Doke, 74, of Florence passed away on December 4, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Florence. That Sunday Elvis Presley lost one of his greatest fans. Margaret had a diverse array of interests. She cherished all of her grandchildren and her dog Buffy, enjoyed Western movies, bingo, slots, flowers, her Lincoln Town car and relaxing on the pontoon boat. Margaret is survived by her daughters Debbie Paul, FL, Rhonda Britz, MI and Dawn LeValley, Florence and son Rick Bialorskurski, MI, ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She is described by her former son-in-law Chuck LaValley as a classy, prim and proper lady who always dressed to the T, but if you made her angry you better look out. Margaret was the “luckiest” person ever when engaged in games of chance. She was a great cook and one of her specialties was sweet potatoes and ribeye steak and Margaret never stuck her green thumb for gardening into the food she was preparing. She is predeceased by her sister Brenda, first husband Raymond Bialorskurski and the love of her life Bobbie Doke, sharing life together for over 25 years. Margaret’s family honored her wishes to be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, January 14, 2017, 1:00 PM, Corners Stone Community Church, 201 N Constitution Ave, Brooklyn, MI, 49230. Burial to follow Oak Grove Cemetery, Napoleon, MI.
