Margaret "Putty" Blanton

Margaret “Putty” (Norfleet) Blanton, 60, Florence passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Florence, KY. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky to Arnold and Ella Mae Norfleet. Putty enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing, board games, Bluegrass music and grand dogs. She loved spending time with her family, especially her eight grandchildren Katelyn (Mark), Allen, Logan, Kanon, Sara, Madilynn, Justin, Garett and her four great grandchildren Colton, Oakley, Aubrey and Leelynn. Putty never met a stranger, helped with various Veterans organizations and loved animals. She is survived by her daughters Melissa (Michael) Lively, Florence and Angie (Matt) Leach, Batavia, OH, son Randall (Jessica) Blanton, London, OH, her sisters Ava (Gene) Lawman, Kokomo, IN, Joyce (Larry) Wright, Chicago, IL, Lynda (Glenn) Walker, Springboro, OH, Janie Norfleet, West Somerset, KY and Janice (Tom) White, Greentown, IN, her brother Lawrence (Phyllis) Norfleet, Nancy, KY and her brother-in-law Donald Stringer, Frankfort, IN, and a lot of nieces and nephews. Putty is preceded in death by her brother Bob Norfleet and her three sisters Ima Stringer, Billie Davenport and Carolyn Stephens. Her family invite you to join them on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at Alliance Funeral Home & Cremation Center, in Florence for a Gathering of Friends and a Celebration of her Life beginning at 1:00 PM.
