Marilyn Ann Powers

Marilyn Ann Powers, 90 of Florence, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 17, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Norwood, OH on October 23, 1930. She is proceeded in death by her parents Leo and Margaret Jansen, husband Thomas Powers and sons Thomas Jr. and Terry. She is survived by her children, Mike Powers, John (Debbie) Powers, Mark Powers, Maria Coppage, and Suzy (Randy) O’Hara along with 14 grandchildren (Traci and Bryan Powers, Jerry Fife, Mathew and Eric Powers, Rebecca Hewling, Kristen Roland, Nathan Powers, Carley Powers, Leah Bishop, Cheston Coppage, Evan, Aaron, and Cameron O’Hara, twenty-two great grandchildren, brothers Ken and Barry Jansen, sister Sue Stagnaro, and many extended family members and friends. Marilyn was a lifelong member of St. Paul Church in Florence, as well as a RN Nurse working for St. Elizabeth Hospital. Marilyn was a very kindhearted and compassionate woman that cherished her family. Her hobbies were baking, gardening, reading, and spending time with her wonderful family. Even to the very end, she very unselfishly made her family the priority. Moms are the heroes of our life and the one’s we love the most. She will be greatly missed. A memorial mass will be held at St. Paul’s Church, Florence, KY, on January 6, 2021 at 10:00 AM to celebrate her life.
