Melvin G Bowen

Melvin G. Bowen, 61, Florence, passed away Friday August 8, 2014 at St Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. Melvin was born in Covington, Kentucky and is predeceased by his parents York Charles Bowen and Hazel Jane (Skidmore) Bowen and a sister Donna Schanding in 2009. His hobbies included University of Kentucky basketball, fishing and keeping his UK blue HHR immaculate. Melvin graduated from Dixie Heights High School and was employed in the concrete construction field. Melvin is survived by a sister Diane Hirtzel of Buffalo, New York and two brothers George Bowen of Florence and Charles Bowen.
