Mike Sherlock

Edward "Mike" Michael Sherlock, 63, of Erlanger passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood. He was a bus driver for Boone County Schools, a veteran of the United States Navy and a Member of Anchor Baptist Church. Mike is survived by his wife of 39 years Cindy (Pabst) Sherlock, son Jeffrey Michael (Cassandra) Sherlock, Burlington, daughters Lisa Michelle (Doug) Brandt, Cincinnati, Amy L. Mahan, Erlanger and Elizabeth (Jeremy) Sherlock, Independence, brother Lee Allen Sherlock, Independence and Mark Edward (Kelley) Sherlock, Southgate and 11 grandchildren who adored him. He was a member of the Free Masons Lodge 95 in Erlanger, a savvy chess player, a collector of various items (especially knives) and an accomplished musician who played several instruments, but was especially gifted with the guitar. Mike was born in Dayton, Kentucky and is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Joan (Abig) Sherlock. Mike's family invite you to help them celebrate his life by joining them for a Gathering of Friends on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Alliance Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Florence from 4:00-6:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held at Stringtown Park on Friday, June 16, 2017 4:00 PM-?. His family will honor his request to be cremated after the ceremony.
