Mountain Man (Bailey) Petty passed away in the loving care of his wife Jeanie Petty on June 20, 2021. Mtn Man was born in Walton, Kentucky on January 9, 1943. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and could tell you where almost any route began and ended. He was an active member of both the KMA/KBA where he would passionately fight for the rights and freedoms of motorcyclists. He was a hard-working gentleman who was deeply knowledgeable of the environments he travelled through. Mtn Man enjoyed sharing life stories from his many experiences and was proud to have been living sober for the past 30 years. He is predeceased by his mother Lela Florence (Rust) Petty, his father Alton Elwood Petty, and his brother Wendall Petty. His legacy will continue live on through his wife Jeanie (Six Pac), his daughter Larah Bennet, son Eugene Petty, several stepchildren, and many grandchildren.
