Phyllis Kathleen Hogan

Phyllis Kathleen Hogan of Fort Thomas passed away at the age 73 on Thursday, May 31, 2018. Phyllis was comforted by those who loved her when she passed at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood. She is survived by her five children, her daughters Denise Johnson (Don Hubbard), Erlanger, Melissa Bohmer (Brion Roman), Crescent Springs and Angela Wilcox, Ft. Thomas, and her sons Gregory K Cornett (Kimberly Cornett) and Matthew R. K. Cornett. She leaves behind her 21 grandchildren Gavin, Clay and Maria Johnson, Tabitha Tirey, Hannah, Chloe and Isaac Bohmer, Caleb, Cody, Shelby and Emily Roman, Savanna, Dalton, Madison and Conner Cornett, Johnathan, Evan and Zachary Lewin, Ryan, Alexis and Dylan Cornett and 2 great grandchildren Carter Cornett and Quinn Mae Lewin. Phyllis was the one of eight children and is survived by her sisters June Canavan (Dave), Akron, OH, Nancy Goetz (Chris), Independence, Pat Hogan, Cold Spring and Betty Art (Dave), Walton, a brother Bob Hogan (Mary), Butler, KY. She is preceded in death by her parents William and Verna Hogan, her brother James Hogan and sister Jean Scheben and her ex-husband and father of her children Don K. Cornett. Phyllis loved spending time with her family, and adored the time spent with her grandchildren. She loved sewing, making blankets and clothes for her grandchildren and children. Sewing gave her such great pleasure. She enjoyed cooking for everyone and loved to have company. She enjoyed all her visits with her sisters and brothers. There will be a Memorial Service for Phyllis on Saturday, June 9, at 10AM, at Christ Baptist Church followed by lunch at the VFW in Southgate, KY.
