Rachel Elaine Hatton, born on October 11, 1971, in Carrollton, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, in Edgewood, Kentucky, surrounded by her loving family. She was 54 years old.
Rachel devoted much of her life to her family and home, serving as a homemaker for many years. She also worked as a cashier at Wendy's, where she was known for her friendly demeanor and kind heart. Beyond her work life, Rachel had been an active member of the Warsaw Baptist Church, finding comfort and community within its congregation.
A passionate fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, Rachel found joy in sports as well as in quiet moments spent watching Lifetime Movies and other television shows. She had a remarkable sense of humor, often lifting the spirits of those around her with laughter. Rachel’s warmth extended to all creatures, especially her beloved cat, Dizzy, who was a cherished companion. Above all, she treasured time spent with family and friends, embracing those relationships as the center of her life.
Rachel is survived by her daughter, Darrien Martin; her sons, Kevin Martin, Jeremy Martin, and Declan Hatton; along with two loving grandchildren who brought her immense happiness. She is also remembered fondly by her stepfather, Ricky Crawford; her brothers, Curtis Martin, Matthew Crawford, and Adam McAllister; and her sister, Amber Sprinkle. Rachel’s legacy lives on in the numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Charles and Bernadette Martin.
A visitation to honor and remember Rachel will be held on April 28, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Alliance Funeral Home & Cremation Center, located at 7816 Dixie Highway in Florence, Kentucky. This will be immediately followed by her funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Rachel Elaine Hatton’s life was marked by her kindness, devotion to family, and joyful spirit. Her memory will continue to inspire those who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to share in her life.
