Raymond Albert Savage, 76, Elsmere passed away on Tuesday August 14, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. He was born in Cincinnati to George and Hazel (Harrington) Savage who predeceased him. Raymond was a maintenance engineer for Butternut Bread and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Raymond’s surviving family members include his daughters Melissa Savage, Indianapolis and Stephanie (Chris) Hicks, Maineville, Ohio, son Raymond (Jenni Carson) Savage, Elsmere, a sister Gayle Savage Justice, Pikeville, KY, brothers George (Joyce) Savage, Cypress, TX and Jack (Donna) Savage, Cincinnati, five grandchildren Raymond, Mark and Kelley Savage, Sophia and Annabelle Hicks and three great grandchildren Kylee, Isabelle and Owen Savage. Raymond was a member of the Firemen and Oilers Union 101, enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping, electronics and spending time with his children while they were growing up. Family and friends are invited for a visitation on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at Alliance Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Florence. Father Gregory Bach from St. Henry Parish will offer prayers and a funeral ceremony will begin at 12:00 PM immediately following the visitation. Raymond will be interred at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown with full military honors at 2:00 PM.
