Ronald Ray Farley

Ron Farley, 79, Independence, KY passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Ft. Thomas, KY. Ron was born to Ray and Lydia Farley in Mingo County West Virginia. He served in the US Army and was deployed to Germany. After he returned home, he worked as a heavy equipment operator with Boone County Public Works where he retired from. Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing with his Buddy’s. He also enjoyed working on cars and doing yard work. Predeceased by his parents, several brothers, and his daughter Julie Farley. Ron leaves behind his loving wife of 19 years, Julie (Roy) Farley, daughters Marsha Woodward and Monica Winkler, brother Monty, sister Julia, grandchildren great-grandchildren, many friends and extended family members. Ron will be missed by many. A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 3:00 PM-4:00 PM at Alliance Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 7816 Dixie Highway, Florence, KY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home. Masks are required at all times and temperatures will be taken.
