Russell Eugene Gaull, known affectionately as Russ by his family and friends, passed away on April 11, 2024, in Scottsdale, Arizona, at the age of 62. Born on January 27, 1962, in Loveland, Ohio, Russ brought laughter and kindness into the lives of all who knew him.
Russ is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Kristi, who was the light of his life and his steadfast companion through all of life's adventures. He was a cherished son to his parents, Virgil and Sandy Gaull, and a beloved brother to LaDonna and her husband Terry Stouder. Russ also leaves behind his brother-in-law, Josh Novogroski, along with many adoring nieces, nephews, and a host of friends who will miss his vibrant spirit. His faithful dog, Chivas, was a constant source of joy and companionship.
An accomplished individual, Russ earned his Juris Doctorate from Chase Law School, which paved the way for a successful career. He dedicated many years to his role as a Senior Project Manager, where his sharp intellect and unwavering work ethic were widely respected.
Russ's zest for life was apparent in his many interests and hobbies. A culinary enthusiast, he loved to cook, finding joy in creating delicious meals for his family and friends. His adventurous spirit shone through in his passion for riding motorcycles, feeling the freedom of the open road beneath him. A loyal fan, Russ never missed an opportunity to cheer on the Cincinnati Bengals and the University of Cincinnati basketball team, embodying the true spirit of a sports aficionado.
Those who knew Russ will remember him for his social nature and his innate ability to make everyone around him smile. His humor was contagious, his friendliness was encompassing, and his thoughtfulness knew no bounds. Russ was the epitome of kindness and giving, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a word of encouragement.
Above all, Russ was a faithful soul who treasured the moments he spent traveling with his loved ones, exploring new places, and creating memories that will be cherished forever. His legacy is one of laughter, friendship, and an unwavering commitment to those he held dear.
