Sharon Lee Sowders

Sharon Lee (Burkhart) Sowders, 72, Dry Ridge passed away Tuesday June 2, 2015 at Cold Spring Transitional Care Center. She is survived by husband Jimmy Sowders. Sharon is the beloved mother of sons Curt Spencer, Independence, and Richard (Tony) Spencer, Corinth and daughter Carrie Gullett, Corinth, sister Ann Behymer Shoust, Burlington and brother Carlos Ray Helton, Cincinnati, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her children Karen Ann Spencer and Charles Griffith ll and mother Viola (Lee) Helton. Sharon enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Her family honored her wishes to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
