Stephen Louis Phillips

Stephen L. Phillips, 73, died early Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the Edgewood Hospice Center after battling pancreatic cancer. He leaves his wife of 51 years, Sharon (Stevens) Phillips; his daughter Stephanie (Jim) Mardis; his son Steve (Michelle) Phillips; his granddaughters Gabrielle and Samantha Mardis; and grandsons Josh Mardis and Stephen Phillips. Steve was born in Cincinnati, OH but later found lifelong residency in the Northern Kentucky area. Steve took his trade for plumbing and in 1975 started Phillips Repair Service, which operated until 2016. Steve was a man with many hobbies and passions such as golfing, fishing, hunting, and classic car restoration. Through these hobbies, he developed great relationships and friendships. Steve will always be remembered and missed for his outgoing personality, which always added vibrancy to every situation. A memorial celebration will be held at Eagle Creek Country Club in Crittenden, KY on October 7th at 6:00PM. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Edgewood Hospice Center.
