Steven D Hawkins

Steven D. Hawkins passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020. He was born October 29, 1959 in Covington to the late Robert H. and Joyce A. (née Hamilton) Hawkins. Steve is survived by his wife of 35+ years, Yvonne (née Miller), his son Wallace and daughter Cara Caudill (Eric), his sister Donna Sevier (Jerry), his grandson Owen Caudill, and many nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by his brother Michael. A 1978 graduate of Highlands High School, Steve lived the majority of his life as a Fort Thomas resident, raising 2 Highlands’ graduate children with his loving wife Yvonne. He worked for 40 years as a machinist and tool maker, earning the superhero moniker of “Chine Shop Guy”. Steve had recently retired to Covington, where he and Yvonne adopted their rescue pup, Thomas. Due to his wishes and the Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial service will not be held. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Reds Community Fund.
