Steven Jeffrey Overstreet

Steven Jeffrey Overstreet, 52, passed away on Saturday February 17, 2018 at his residence in Covington. He was a carpenter by trade having worked for Spaulding Construction. Steve is survived by his mother Constance “Connie” Byrge and stepfather Michael Byrge, sons Joshua (Dorothy) Overstreet and Ty Overstreet, Florence, sisters Tammy Rabe, Taylor Mill and Michelle (Hori) Watanabe, Union, brothers Donald Wayne Overstreet, Cincinnati and Rodney Ray (Sherri) Overstreet, Glendora, CA, two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and Lucky his pit bull. His sister Laura Overstreet Thomas preceded him in death. According to his family Steve was loved by everyone and had a heart of gold. He was a “jack of all trades” who was especially fond of mechanic work. If he did not know how to do something he worked at it until he figured it out. Steve’s family invite you to join them on Wednesday February 21, 2018 for a Gathering of Friends from 2:00-4:00 PM at Alliance Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Florence. A Celebration of Steve’s Life will be held immediately following at 4:00 PM. His family honored his wishes to be cremated and his final resting place will be at Floral Hills Memorial Garden.
