William "Pee-Paw" Pickett

William C. “Pee-Paw” Pickett, 64, of Florence passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Florence. Mr. Pickett was an Army Veteran, Past Commander of American Legion Post 4 in Florence and Post 277 in Walton, Casterlines Fishing Club and Moose Lodge 1469 in Taylor Mill. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with friends and family. He was an excellent carpenter who enjoyed fixing things and found no project too daunting. Mr. Pickett leaves his wife of 31 years Jennie, daughters Heather Smith of Covington, Melanie Pickett of Shelbyville, sons Brandon (Jennifer) Pickett Florence, William “Bobby” (April) Pickett of Latonia, grandchildren Hannah, Lucas, William, Caityln and sisters Cathy (Bill) Thibault of Burlington, Margaret (Bruce) Beckerich of Florence, Linda and (Ron) Browning of Falmouth. Mr. Pickett was loved by many and will be missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held at Ralph Fulton VFW Post 6423, 4435 Dixie Highway, Elsmere, KY on Saturday, September 19, 2015, 4:00 PM-8:00 PM.
